Arrive in Tromsø, where your private driver will transfer you to The Dock 69°39 by Scandic. This stylish waterfront hotel blends modern design with Arctic heritage, offering panoramic views and easy access to the city’s attractions. The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore the charming streets, cafes, and harborfront.
Day 2: Reindeer Sledding Adventure and Dinner Cruise
Meet your Sámi guide for a morning of reindeer sledding, learning about their culture, history, and way of life while gliding through snowy landscapes. Enjoy hot drinks and traditional tastings in a warm lavvu tent. In the evening, set sail on a silent electric catamaran for an Aurora Dinner Cruise, savoring local cuisine while searching the skies for the Northern Lights.
Day 3: Explore Tromsø & Evening Snowmobile
Begin the day with an invigorating sauna experience followed by a refreshing Arctic plunge. The afternoon is free to explore Tromsø’s landmarks, from the Polar Museum to the Arctic Cathedral. In the evening, ride snowmobiles deep into the wilderness under a starlit sky — and, with luck, beneath the aurora’s glow — before returning to Tromsø around midnight.
Day 4: Husky Sledding and Northern Lights Chase
Head to a husky farm for a thrilling sled ride through pristine Arctic landscapes. Learn about the care and training of these friendly Alaskan Huskies and enjoy time with the dogs. After dark, join a guided Northern Lights Minibus Chase to find the best viewing spots, complete with a bonfire, hot drinks, and expert tips for photographing the aurora.
Day 5: Safe Travels
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before your private transfer to Tromsø Airport. Depart with unforgettable memories of Arctic adventures, cultural encounters, and (hopefully) nights under the dancing Northern Lights.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings can never be guaranteed, but Tromsø offers one of the highest chances on Earth to witness them. Warm layered clothing, thermal boots, gloves, and hats are essential, as temperatures may drop well below freezing. All excursions are subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled for safety reasons. We recommend arriving at least one day prior to your tour start for smoother travel connections.
