Day 1: Arrival at Ivalo airport

Welcome to one of the most prominent towns of Finnish Lapland – Saariselkä! Airport transfer. Hotel check-in. In the evening, experience the Northern Lights chase tour with reindeer sledding. Lapland is well known for its beautiful Northern Lights. Let’s go through the mystical forests of Lapland and look for the auroras. On our night safari, we will enjoy the reindeer sleigh ride through the dark and silent forest searching for the Northern Lights.

Day 2: Saariselka

Snowmobiling & overnight in glass igloo
This snowmobile safari will give you a chance to ride on the forest trails around the Lapland area. You will enjoy the beautiful wintry scenery, on the way you will make several stops to admire the snowy nature. Our expert guide will provide all the necessary safety and driving instructions before you hit the trails. Later you will be transferred to an amazing experience of sleeping in a glass igloo. Sleep under the stars in the accommodation of your dreams. Indulge in the cozy warmth while enjoying the sensational views of our glass igloos.

 

Day 3: Saariselka to Rovaniemi by car

Private transfer from Saariselka to Rovaniemi – the official hometown of Santa Claus. Enjoy another Aurora tour and experience the northern lights chase by minivan. Get picked up from your accommodation by an experienced local wilderness guide with extensive knowledge of Lapland and the Northern Lights. Head out to hunt for the Auroras far away from the city’s light pollution and get dropped off back at your accommodation after the tour.

Day 4: Rovaniemi. Visit Santa village

Enjoy the Santa Clause Visit with a small group, meet the real Santa and blow him your wishes, visit Santa’s post office were his elves are working full year, you can also send a post card from there to your siblings or friends. We will cross the arctic circle line where you can take some photos and videos.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, check out from hotel. Take airport transfer and board your flight. End your Finnish winter experience with wonderful memories!

Temperatures in Lapland can drop below -20°C, so thermal clothing, gloves, and waterproof boots are essential.
