Day 1: Arrival at Stockholm
Welcome to Sweden! Upon arrival at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the capital. After check-in, take some time to relax and settle in. Depending on your arrival time, you might choose to take a leisurely walk around the nearby streets, explore local cafés, or enjoy the scenic waterfront views. Stockholm, built on 14 islands, offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern Scandinavian design—setting the perfect tone for your autumn adventure. Overnight in Stockholm.
Day 2: Stockholm
Take the city sightseeing walking tour and travel back in time on a historical walking tour of Stockholm’s Old Town. Discover hidden gems and old tales from the city’s past. See top city attractions like the 17th-century Baroque Royal Palace. Explore Stockholm’s old town, or “Gamla stan” as it is known locally. Immerse yourself in the most mythical and legendary neighborhood in Stockholm. As the city’s historical center, this is where you find out about ancient events and hear fascinating stories and tales that will last for a lifetime. Visit Vasa museum and get to know about this beautiful warship.
Day 3: Stockholm-Kiruna
Take flight to Kiruna. Airport transfer.
Northern light chase, 3-4hrs. In the evening, experience the northern lights chase by minivan. With a minivan we’ll take you to the Northern Light. Abisko, Björkliden, Jukkasjärvi, or nearby, the guide will check where the best possibilities to see the Northern Light is within 100km and takes you there. This is the perfect tour to maximize your chances of seeing and taking pictures of the amazing Aurora Borealis.
Day 4: Kiruna
ICEHOTEL tour, 3 hrs. Icehotel is a world class destination. It was founded in 1989 and is the original hotel made of ice and snow. It is also Sweden’s most unique and probably most extensive private ice art hall. Icehotel 365 accommodates nine Art Suites, nine Deluxe Suites with private bathroom and relax, an ice gallery and Icebar by Icehotel Jukkasjrävi – all created by ice builders and artists from around the world.
Day 5: Kiruna
Day excursion to Abisko, 6-7 hrs. Abisko with its National Park and the famous signature mountain Lapporten is a well-known feature in Swedish Lapland. Admire the scenery along the Abisko National Park. During the tour, we will take a walk along the spectacular canyon, as well as a visit to Silver Fall near Björkliden. For millennia, the area has been home to the Sami who followed herds of wilds between the forest land and the mountains. We enjoy the fantastic view over the mountain Lapporten and the impressive lake, Torneträsk. In Abisko we go down to Abiskojokka, a magnificient canyon with dramatic nature. We continue towards Björkliden and visit one of the biggest waterfalls in Rákkasjohka, the silver falls.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight. As your memorable journey through Sweden comes to an end, take with you the sights of Stockholm, the magic of the northern lights, and the peaceful beauty of Swedish Lapland.
